JumpCart combines a powerful hosted software application with compact, lightweight scanners to provide flexible, easy-to-use inventory management capabilities.
The JumpCart barcode scanner is about the size and weight of the remote device you use to unlock your car doors so it doesn’t interfere with work movement, and has only two buttons so it’s very easy to use. Just scan the items you’d to like to record into or out of inventory. Barcodes can be scanned from an individual item, shelf label, order guide or a catalog produced using JumpCart. All required barcodes are easily created by the JumpCart system with no need for special printers.
The hosted JumpCart software works with any PC with an Internet connection; there’s no additional servers to buy and the only software required is easily installed onto the PC client. JumpCart’s hosted software lets you easily specify order quantities, reorder points, product numbers and preferred vendors for all inventoried and non-inventoried items. You can set static or dynamic reorder policies by item, track separate usage and order units of measure, and create custom fields.
At the end of each day-or any time frame you choose-simply plug the scanner into the USB port of any Internet-connected PC and all of the information is uploaded. JumpCart automatically creates orders for any needed items based on your inventory usage and displays the items, vendors and delivery locations on its Order Summary screen. Just review the orders, edit as necessary, and with one click send them to your vendors or to your procurement or ERP system.
